A state pS can be converted to an entangled state via incoherent operations if and only if pS is coherent.)

Standard AW: Fragen zu einer Publikation (Measuring Quantum Coherence with Entanglement)

Hallo! Mal wieder was zum Thema.
http://quantumcorrelations.weebly.co...ations_cde.pdf

Den Teil:
Zitat:
Entanglement can be created by incoherent operations on a system S and an incoherent ancilla A IF AND ONLY IF the initial system state pS has nonzero coherence
hatten wir ja schon ein bisschen diskutiert!

Quasi so:
Elektron 1 = Superposition / coherence (Spin Up/Down x); System S
wechselwirkt mit
Elektron 2 = im "gemischten Zustand" / inkohärent (Spin Down x); Ancilla A
UND wir haben Verschränkung 1 & 2

was dann bedeutet:
Zitat:
The maximum entanglement E between the system S and the initially incoherent ancilla A created by incoherent operations quantifies the initial
coherence Ce in the system state pS

Zitat:
The output premeasurement state ~P AB:M is entangled for all choices of the Ub IF AND ONLY IF the initial system state Pab has nonzero
discord (with respect to B)
was dann bedeutet:
Zitat:
The minimum entanglement E between the system AB and the
apparatus M generated during a local (pre)measurement on subsystem B
quantifies the initial discord De in the system
***
Bei Wiki heißt es:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantum_discord
Zitat:
In quantum information theory, quantum discord is a measure of nonclassical correlations between two subsystems of a quantum system. It includes correlations that are due to quantum physical effects but do not necessarily involve quantum entanglement.

The notion of quantum discord was introduced by Harold Ollivier and Wojciech H. Zurek[1][2] and, independently by L. Henderson and Vlatko Vedral.[3] Olliver and Zurek referred to it also as a measure of quantumness of correlations.[2] From the work of these two research groups it follows that quantum correlations can be present in certain mixed separable states;[4] In other words, separability alone does not imply the absence of quantum effects. The notion of quantum discord thus goes beyond the distinction which had been made earlier between entangled versus separable (non-entangled) quantum states.
Wie ist ***das als Beispiel mit Elektronen? Will jemand was dazu sagen? Ein Beispiel?

PS: Was mir auch nicht ganz klar ist --> Wie können zwei Elektronen im gemischten Zustand (sagen wir Elektron 1 & 2 im Spin Up+Down Zustand), die als ein System A:B beschrieben werden, verschränkt sein mit einem 3. System M?

UND BTW: Was ist "Bipartite Coherence"? Also geteilte Superposition?

Quantum Discord: A Measure of the Quantumness of Correlations

--> "bipartite coherence"

Zitat:
The quantum discord is a measure of the information that cannot be extracted by the reading of the state of the apparatus (i.e. without joint measurements).
Aber hier:
Zitat:
Discord can be interpreted and quantified in terms of bipartite
coherence minimized over all local bases for subsystem

Hmmmmm.....

Ich hab da was gelesen: The Discord-like Correlation of Bipartite Coherence
https://arxiv.org/abs/1611.00413

Quantum discord is a measure of quantum correlation by the the mutual information difference between the state and the output state after the local von Neumann measurement, where the mutual information contained in a bipartite state is defined as the difference of von Neumann entropy of the reduced states and that of the global state. Instead of [...]

E1 = Spin Up x & E2 = Spin Down x
>> wäre AFAIK nur ein gemischter Zustand, inkohärent

2 Elektronen haben z.B. E1 = Spin Up/Down x & E2 = Spin Up/Down x

Standard the more the coherence, the less the entropy

Zitat:
we can claim that if the quantum system is entangled with the outside world, then the coherence of the system may decay.
[...]
This is because that the measure of the coherence depends on the choice of the basis, but the entangled property is not so.
[...]
This inequality shows that the larger the coherence of subsystem, the less entanglement between two the subsystems. In other words, the system A is already as entangled as it can possibly be with the other system B, then itself coherence would pay for their entangled behavior.
